Our Aims are to

• ·Provide emotional support we support adult male survivors of sexual abuse who live or work in the Leeds area.
• ·Run training courses for Health Care professionals
• ·Provide brief telephone support for professionals, family and friends
• ·We help any survivor self help groups to flourish
• ·To empower male victims of sexual abuse to become survivors by promoting self esteem and confidence.

Our Objectives are to

• ·To acquire funding to pay for 1-1 support, Shiatsu, and therapeutic groups.
• ·work with female survivors in developing a mixed gender support group.
• ·We are working towards providing
• ·free face-to-face support for clients and arrange appropriate counselling
• ·information and training to other interested agencies and individuals
• ·up to date information about other relevant services, both locally and nationally.

Our Beliefs

We believe that

• ·healing from the abuse is possible and that we can use our experience to help others to recover.
• ·we can learn to deal with the consequences of sexual abuse and go on to enjoy life.
  ·we can learn to protect ourselves and face our fears.
• ·we can deal with, and face, our distress without going mad.
